Simmone Henry joined the NIH community in 2005, initially serving on the administrative staff for the Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She then transitioned to the role of Program Specialist at the NCI Office of Technology Transfer Center, where she provided pivotal support to the License Patent Managers. In January 2017, Simmone embarked on a new chapter as a member of the Royalties Administration Unit (RAU) within the NIH Office of Technology Transfer (OTT). Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and an MBA, Simmone brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. As a Royalties Coordinator, she is integral in administratively and technically coordinating the NIH royalties program, as well as managing the reimbursement of patent prosecution costs from licensees. Her extensive experience and educational background enhances her commitment to excellence in advancing the NIH's mission.
